During our initial years, our core mission was to provide the highest quality, affordable, Foreign Pre-Owned Vehicles as well as Parts and Components to the local market, as we recognized that the cost to obtain new vehicles was extremely high and inaccessible to the average person in Trinidad and Tobago.
All of our vehicles were hand selected, personally examined and subject to our three-step certification process to ensure that only the highest-grade vehicles were brought in from the Asian markets and made available in Trinidad and Tobago. We were one of the first establishments in Trinidad to operate as a Foreign, Pre-owned Vehicle Dealership and we were also one of the first establishments to offer a complete array of Services, including Parts and Servicing under our intense After Sales Services Policy. Through our constant and continuous thirst to innovate and expand our offering to the Local market, we soon realised that the boom of the Industrial Sector in Trinidad and Tobago opened up a large demand for economical, commercial vehicles and Heavy-Duty Equipment which, at that time, was very costly and whose supply was largely dominated by a few companies which made it very difficult for the average man to afford. This hindered their ability to open businesses related to the transport, industrial and construction sectors.
For this reason, some 17 years ago in 2004, we at Rex Kar Limited made an executive decision to transition into a fully operational dealer of New Commercial Light and Heavy-duty Trucks as well as Heavy Earth Moving Equipment. We currently offer a wide range of trucks of varying Models and Capacities that are extremely affordable that can withstand the toughest working environments.
